Hakemann GmbH & Co. KG, based in Lower Saxony, has stood for quality and innovation in the field of refrigeration and warming equipment for over 45 years. Founded in 1979 by Wilhelm Hakemann as a business for catering equipment, the company developed under Hergen and graduate engineer Edgar Hakemann into a specialist for technically sophisticated equipment in shopfitting.
Since 2001, the focus has been exclusively on the development and manufacture of cooling and warming systems. In 14 production halls covering around 13,000 m², approx. 5,000 units are produced each year – from refrigerated counter inserts and cooling plates and display cases to tailor-made custom solutions.
Thanks to state-of-the-art manufacturing with networked laser cutting systems, an automated bending center and a powerful ERP system, Hakemann produces just-in-time and according to customer specifications. Over 40 patents and utility models demonstrate the high degree of innovation of the WIHA brand. Many devices are already cloud-enabled today – including temperature logs, fault messages and remote diagnostics.
Its customers include leading European shopfitters that use WIHA devices in bakeries, service stations, canteens, shopping centers and airports. The combination of innovative strength, in-house manufacturing depth and close customer relationships makes Hakemann a reliable partner in professional equipment manufacturing.
